CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Pure Play Media has set out to enhance its Direct-To-Retail (D2R) business model by capitalizing on the sales force, industry strength and track record of International Video Distributors (IVD). Effective Nov. 1, IVD will serve as Pure Play's exclusive sales and shipping agent.
Pure Play made the strategic decision to involve IVD in an effort to grow as an established leader in the adult distribution arena. The company implemented the D2R model over a year ago with confirmed retailer success.
Now in its 25th year, IVD has established itself as a global leader in video distribution with its solid sales and shipping optimization model.
Pure Play Media CEO Richard Arnold remarked, “By going Direct-To-Retail we center our attention on the many retailers and chains going direct to the source, offering one of the largest libraries of studios and genres to choose from.
"With the addition of IVD, this business model will not alter. Instead, it will be greatly enhanced. This news follows on the heels of Pure Play signing distribution deals with several studios, including Europe’s Private Media Group, Immoral Productions, Homegrown Video, HellHouse, Swank Digital, Edward James, and more. In addition, Pure Play already represents several well-established brands in the adult video market: Seymore Butts, Naughty America, The Score Group, Silver Sinema, Hundies, Suze Randall, Cousin Stevie, Asia Bootleg, Pink Moon Digital, Liquid London, Suite 703, and Pink Lotus.
