CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Pulse Distribution has set an August 11 street date for its Special Collector’s Hardcore Edition of the 2009 AVN Awards Show. The two-disc set includes exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage, red carpet coverage, and 12 award-winning sex scenes presented in their entirety.

Often referred to as the “Oscars of Porn,” the AVN Awards Show continues to reach past the reliable porn fan demographic. Along with national media coverage, the 2009 AVN Awards made its world broadcast debut in April on the Showtime cable network.
Hosted by Belladonna, Jenna Haze, and comedienne Thea Vidale, the 26th annual ceremony brought fans and media from around the world to the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Jan. 10 to honor the best in hardcore adult entertainment.

The AVN Awards 2009 DVD includes scenes from Buttwoman (Elegant Angel), Girlvana 4 (Zero Tolerance), Fallen (Wicked Pictures), Cry Wolf (Vivid Entertainment), Ashlynn Goes to College (New Sensations), and Icon (SexZ Pictures).
Also featured on the DVD are appearances by such starlets as Jesse Jane, Alexis Texas, Kayden Kross, Riley Steele, Monique Alexander, Ashlynn Brooke, and AVN Best New Starlet Stoya.
