Berth Milton, CEO and chairman of Private Media Group, is preparing to drive over the tough terrain of the Atlas Mountains and unforgiving landscape of the Sahara desert on a two-wheeled off-road mission to help abused women and children in Morocco.
Milton’s drive through hazardous territory begins on Sunday in Barcelona and will take him deep into the heart of Morocco and back.
During the trip, Milton will visit several NGOs, hospitals and medical centers where he will hand over both personal monetary donations and financial aid which has already been pledged by several friends and companies from the adult entertainment industry.
Milton said that this journey is only a pre-cursor to a larger charity initiative for Africa as he will be joined by Dave Moran, CEO of Zemtex Medical, manufacturers of Private Condoms. The 16-day tour is the first run in preparation for a much longer journey that is being planned with Zemtex Medical and their Drive for Africa initiative to combat HIV/AIDS.
Following a successful first tour, Milton will drive further across the African continent in 2007, delivering Private Condoms and helping to raise funds for NGOs, hospitals and medical centers.
In an effort to protect the travel itinerary and daily location the names and addresses of all the medical centers and hospitals will only be disclosed post delivery. However, interested parties can follow Berth on www.privatelifestyle.com/africa where there will be a daily blog, videos and pictures. There will also be link for individuals and companies to make pledges towards the eradication of HIV/AIDS.
Drive for Africa includes a pro-celebrity golf tournament scheduled for March 2007 organized by Zemtex Medical (Private Condoms) and all the proceeds will be donated towards projects for the fight against HIV/AIDS. Drive for Africa will also distribute 1 million free condoms to Africa.
