Private Media Group Inc. [Nasdaq: PRVT], announced the signing of an exclusive joint venture agreement with WebVision Inc., a leading provider of innovative proprietary e-commence solutions to business and industry leaders, to launch the World's first 24-hour a day Internet Adult Home Shopping Broadcast Channel. The new service is scheduled to start Monday.
The Home Shopping site, entitled www.privateinternetshop.com, will be a continuous round-the-clock full audio/video multicast broadcast, highlighting the attractions of Private's comprehensive range of adult entertainment and pleasure enhancement products including Videos, DVDs, Novelty Items, Magazines and CD-Roms. Mainstream members of the adult community can now shop at a time and location of their choice in a private, discreet environment.
This launch is yet another integral part of Private's strategy to be the ``world shopping center of choice'' for the global adult community, said Berth Milton, Chairman & CEO of Private Media Group, Inc.
WebVision, based in Torrance, California, will create the site for Private. Shoppers will be able to view the Private product range in a user-friendly video format, see an order-entry screen and place orders for selected products into a 'shopping cart' by simply pointing and clicking as they continue to browse and shop for products of their choice.
