Taking a page or two from Star Academie, Quebec's answer to American Idol, Pornstar Academie will launch September 12, after 10 slots – five men, five women – are filled following auditions which began with 700 applications, moved to 45 contestants, and now leave 14.
"Once you graduate," Pornstar Academie touts, "a porn star is born."
The concept, says Divertissements Cyber2000, Inc. creators of multilingual Webmaster affiliate program 4BigCash.com, which is promoting the Pornstar Academie Website, was to set up a competition of sensuality and acting. Those participating are taught "the essentials" of adult entertainment and the industry, and are voted off each week, a la the current spate of "reality" television shows like Survivor or American Idol.
The Website launched in May, and the partnership with 4BigCash.com began August 22. The production site in Montreal is a dorm-like "ultimate hose of sin and seduction," Pornstar Academie says, wired completely with webcams and is "where ordinary people are transformed into celebrities of the porn industry."
Pornstar Academie for now is the top seller among 4BigCash.com's affiliate sites and programs. Affiliate Webmasters can earn 60 percent commissions on every paid subscription, and recurring such commissions on each renewal, plus dialer commissions from over sixty countries worldwide. And, Webmasters can earn 10 percent total revenues for each Webmaster referral, with payouts processes within two weeks of the end of each month.
