Adult performer Moxxie Maddron and photographer/director Chris King will host the release party for their forthcoming movie, The Instigator, on Saturday night at the Key Club.
Maddron stars in The Instigator, which is the first movie from Maddron and King's production company Monarch XXX Media. The DVD also stars Jessica Jaymes, Lindsey Meadows and reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year, Hillary Scott. Mark Davis, Nick Manning, Mikey Budters, Mark Zane and Jason Sinclair also appear.
"It's a gonzo movie with a thin story line," said Maddron, who appears throughout the film that marks the directorial debut of King.
Four bands will perform live at the party, including Lynam, the hard rock act from Alabama that supplied the music featured in the movie. Parmalee, from North Carolina, Uncrowned, from Georgia, and Minus Halo, hailing from Sacramento, will also play.
"They mesh really well together," said Jennifer Rose, president of Shameless Promotions which is staging the event. "... Moxxie told me about what she and Chris were doing with their new production company and so I offered to do the party for them and we said why don't we kick it up a notch and get some bands. I'm doing five different shows with these bands. We did Orange County Thursday night, {Friday night] were doing the Whiskey. We're doing the Key Club Saturday, and then San Diego and then back to O.C."
The "rock meets porn" event has received RSVP's from Dave Navarro, Snoop Dogg and Nikki Sixx among others, Rose said.
