If the phrase “watch Ron Jeremy feed his turtle” sounds like a euphemism for gawking at the big man as he abuses himself, you’re over thinking. What it really means is, literally watching the Hedgehog feed his pet turtle, which happens to be named Cherry. You can do just that in the newly released documentary Pornstar Pets, directed by filmmaker Margie Schnibbe.
The movie explores the emotional lives of 22 of adult’s biggest stars — Teri Weigel, Sunset Thomas, and Taylor Wane, among others — through their interaction with various family pets. We’re talking dogs, cats, birds, snakes, rabbits, and some ultra-rare Madagascan millipedes. It may be tough for a porn star to find a steady, intimate human relationship, but pets (millipedes aside) are there every night to lick your face with unconditional love. Even if that face just played host to the semen of a dozen men.
Emergent DVD Label Brink Film has released the seminal documentary, in a Collector's DVD Edition, packaged with 30 minutes of bonus footage, galleries, and a commentary track voiced by Ron Jeremy.
