Police Nab Alleged Adult Store Robber

A man accused of robbing an adult novelty store was arrested last night after a brief police chase

Raymond McKissick, 27, reportedly burst into Priscilla’s, along Monroe Street, and threatened the female clerk, Cassandra Mulligan with a knife, WTOL-TV reported. He then used plastic handcuffs, dubbed “flex cuffs” on the woman to tie her up, then he tried to strangle her with a cord, police said.

After grabbing her purse and some merchandise, the suspect fled on foot. At about the same time, Mulligan triggered an alarm button that alerted police who quickly responded to the call and spotted the running suspect.

They chased after him before the man slipped on wet grass and struck his head on some bricks. Police apprehended the suspect who was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The knife and stolen merchandise was recovered.

The police car chasing McKissick was heavily damaged after it hit a curb and blew out three tires and slammed into Rudy’s Hot Dog stand.
