Police Arrest 16-Year-old Stripper in Sting Operation

Police have arrested 15 women, including a 16-year-old girl for performing lap dances during a sting operation at Sugar’s strip club.

The operation, conducted last week, resulted in the arrests of several exotic dancers and the club’s manager and the assistant manager on prostitution-related charges, the Seattle Post Intelligencer reported last week.

Sgt. Kathleen Larson said all but the teenager were booked into jail. The girl was released to the custody of her grandmother in Seattle. She apparently lied about her age, Larson said. By law, dancers must be at least 18 to work at a strip club, where no alcohol is served.

The teenager was one of those caught performing a full contact lap dance, straddling a detective and simulating a sex act, in violation of the law.
