The Brothers Blatt - KB and D$, of course - were among the hobnobbers at the March 26 premiere of Head of State, the new comedy starring Chris Rock and Bernie Mac.
How did this pair rate the invite? It was easy. Head of State used D$'s famous Players' Ball - you know, the porn party made famous by way of AVN's Internext (formerly ia2000) trade shows in Las Vegas and elsewhere - in the film. The scenes include one in which Rock's presidential candidate, Mays Gilliam, puts in a campaign appearance at a Players' Ball.
That lined the Brothers Blatt up for a little face time with Rock himself, plus Saturday Night Live's Tracey Morgan, DJ Quick, jazz star Marcus Miller, and The Bishop Don Magic Juan, described as "D$'s and Snoop Dogg's spiritual advisor."
"The movie - is hysterical," KB said. "Go out and see the movie, and then vote for Mays Gilliam."
