Playboy Enterprises, Inc. will conduct a conference call at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, on Tuesday, Nov. 7 to discuss its third quarter 2006 earnings. The company’s third quarter 2006 earnings report will be released just before the market opens that morning.

Lucas Binder, a financial analyst with UBS Investment Research, said in a report that he expects Playboy to post a loss for the third quarter, but that its new club at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas should boost its revenues for the fourth quarter.
Binder estimated the casino would generate about $4 million a year with about 80 percent gross profit margin for the company.
Of late, Playboy has been struggling as it cut spending and restructured its operations earlier this year to better deal with a sluggish market. For the second quarter, ending June 30, the company posted $3.3 million loss or about 10 cents a share on $80.5 million in revenue. During the same period a year earlier, the company reported a $4.6 million profit or 14 cents a share on revenue of $82.9 million.
