LOS ANGELES — Playboy Radio's "Night Calls" brings some of the biggest names to ever grace the blue screen into its studio next week for a five-day-long "Legends of Porn" tribute.
"Night Calls" hosts Christy Canyon and Vanessa Blue will welcome Seka, Porsche Lynn, Georgina Spelvin, John Stagliano, Eric Edwards, Vanessa Del Rio, Taylor Wane, Tom Byron, Bill Margold, Ron Jeremy and Veronica Hart to the show to discuss the spectacular growth of the industry from its Golden Age to today.
On Thursday, Aug. 7, the show will be specially dedicated to John Holmes, with the late star's widow, Laurie Holmes, appearing alongside Jill Nelson and Jennifer Sugar, co-authors of the biography "John Holmes: A Life Measured in Inches." The book releases the following day, which would have been Holmes' 64th birthday.
Sugar and Nelson will sign copies of the book Friday evening at West Hollywood's Book Soup (8818 W. Sunset Blvd.), joined by Margold and "Johnny Wadd" director Bob Chinn. Then at midnight, there will be a free screening of the Holmes film Eruption at the Silent Movie Theater (611 N. Fairfax Ave.).
Other "Legends of Porn" appearing on "Night Calls" next week include: Debi Diamond, Bianca Seven, David "Pussyman" Christopher, Randy Spears, Roy Karch, Raven Touchstone, Jim South, Herschel Savage, Nina Hartley, Ed Powers and Kelly Nichols.
"Night Calls" airs on Sirius channel 198 from 4 to 7 p.m. PST.
