Playboy Broadcasting First Interactive Adult Film

PlayboyTV plans to air the first interactive film May 20. Fast Lane to Malibu will allow viewers to control the action of the film and kick off what the Playboy Entertainment Group calls a series of interactive films designed for PlayboyTV. nrn"It's a first," Playboy Entertainment Group president of production Richard Rosetti says. "I've never seen anything like this done before." nrnThe film, produced by Indigo Entertainment with a non-interactive version coming to video stores, tracks classmates Zack and Brian on a trip to Malibu after being invited to a party where the women distinctly outnumber the men. But they're hit with unexpected obstacles, such as car problems, locals ranging from uncouth to promiscuous - and that's where the viewers come in: they'll have to advise the boys on the best moves. nrnThey'll also have to help Zack and Brian's girlfriends, especially when it comes to the all-important question of whether they should take part in a wet T-shirt contest. nrnThe film stops at five parts, so live PlayboyTV hostesses can poll viewers by phone, fax or the PlayboyTV Website, with a plot line winning the vote after five minutes of deciding what goes down next for the boys and the girls.
