Platinum Media to Appear on Bravo's 'Sin Cities'

Adult amateur company Platinum Media has recently been contacted by Shine Limited, the U.K. company responsible for Bravo's "Sin Cities" to participate in its upcoming show. Bravo, in the U.K., has been responsible for such shows as “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” which is now seen throughout the United States.

Now in it's fourth series, “Sin Cities” features English presenter Ashley Hames who travels across the world observing and meeting people from different strands of the adult entertainment industry.

The latest focus of "Sin Cities" will be digging inside the amateur porn industry and the everyday couples who make and star in it. During a teleconference held at Platinum Media's corporate office last week, the show's assistant producer Cat Hoskin said, "We're hoping to base the new show around the theme of a real amateur porn company using real couples.”

Platinum Media said it would join in the production by arranging for Shine Limited to attend a shooting, setting up interviews with their featured stars as well as providing technical and anecdotal background about the amateur porn industry.

Mandi Michaels, star of 24 titles for Platinum Media and the VP of production, said, "We are so excited about the prospect of partnering up with Shine Limited for this series. It would not only open up a large market that we normally don’t reach, but it would be a real kick to work with Ashley and the rest of the crew.

“Doing a television documentary with them should be extremely interesting as a whole different side of the entertainment industry will be revealed,” continued Michaels.

“I'm not sure if Maine is ready for this, but we're sure looking forward to this adventure."

“Sin Cities” is planning to arrive in the states sometime during the next four weeks to begin production. At press time, there was no additional information on the scheduled air date.
