After five years working in front of the camera, Platinum Media's Mandi Michaels announced her retirement from performing.
This comes as no surprise to Scott Morgan, president and CEO of Platinum Media, since he's been utilizing her experience in sales and marketing for the past year now.
Michaels began working with the amateur production company when she turned 18 and appeared in her first film 18 and Still in School. After four years and 37 videos, she was presented with an opportunity to become part owner of the company's newly formed distribution company - Select Distributors.
The 23-year-old Michaels recently signed the paperwork giving her half interest and full control of the distribution company.
"It makes me feel good that I am recognized for what I have between my ears," the young Executive VP said while signing papers. "I think some of my friends only thought it was what I had between my legs that kept me employed."
While Michaels will not be appearing in any sex scenes produced by the company in the future, she will still appear in some of their promotional scenes and trade shows as needed.
"She earned this and it's about time she turned in her toys," Morgan said. "Her damn batteries cost too much."
