Pink Visual, Male Spectrum Launch 'Clunker' Stimulus Program

VAN NUYS, Calif.—With the U.S. government-sponsored “Cash for Clunkers” program coming to an end, adult film studio Pink Visual and its gay counterpart Male Spectrum have launched their own program designed to give consumers a boost.

While the government program was intended to spark auto sales, Pink Visual and Male Spectrum will be focusing on "porn burnout."

“Many Americans, and other porn consumers around the world, are suffering from having to watch the same old porn they already own, over and over again," said Kim Kysar, brand manager for both studios. "With the economy still in a slump, many consumers are unable to finance new porn, and they are despondent over the prospects for an erotic recovery.”

So Pink Visual and Male Spectrum for the month of September will be offering consumers special discounted rates in order to obtain some fresh porn. Consumers who give up their old site memberships and sign up to one of four Pink Visual/Male Spectrum sites will receive a special monthly rate of $9.95 for full access. In addition to discounted memberships, the companies are also offering a 50 percent discount on their DVDs.

In order to receive the "aid," a consumer must enter the promotional code “clunker” when they sign up or checkout at one of the following sites: pinkvisual.com, malespectrum.com, pinkvisualpass.com, malespectrumpass.com, or on their mobile phones at the premium sections of ipinkvisual.com and imalespectrum.com.

“We are going the extra mile to bring the porn to the consumers in multiple methods, including via their mobile phones, so that no consumer will be left behind,” added Kysar. “As a company, we pride ourselves on our innovative nature and offer consumers multiple avenues to experience our porn."
