Pink Pony to Host Fundraiser for Waters

Galardi South Enterprises will be holding a charity fundraiser for feature dancer Chrystal Waters, who suffered a serious neck injury earlier this week, July 25-30 at the Pink Pony Theatre.

Waters, the 22-year-old, Miss Nude Texas in 2002 and 2003, broke her neck and crushed her 6th vertebra while unknowingly diving into shallow water head first while on a boat ride, according to a letter from veteran feature, Melissa Rivers. Waters, who was only able to move her pinky finger, was scheduled to undergo a series of surgeries, Rivers said.

Rivers said the club will put the money in as a donation rather than pay the girls.

"We would love it if you could come down to the Pink Pony and show your support on those days,” she said. “For you fans out there that can’t make it we will be filming a DVD of the shows that you were unable to see and giving one away for every donation made of $75 or more. For all you dancers that already have booking on those dates a donation of one show would be appreciated. You can send your donations made out to Chrystal Waters to my fan club address and I can forward them Chrystal as they arrive.”
