BARCELONA, Spain – Director Pierre Woodman of Woodman Entertainment was featured on the European culture channel Canal Arte’s hour-long program, “Into the Night” last week. Broadcast in France in Germany, the weekly show brings together two personalities from the world of the arts in each episode.
Woodman was accompanied by horror movie director Brian Yuzna, producer of Re-Animator, Society and Progeny. “Into the Night” explores the interaction between two celebrities from, often very different, artistic backgrounds as they spend an evening in each others' company with one playing host in a city of their choice. In last week's episode, the pair explored Woodman’s favorite city, Prague, and discovered more about each other's different viewpoints on the world of cinema.
"I didn't hesitate to choose Prague as my city, it is somewhere I love
and have done a lot of work there and I thought the gothic feel of the
place also went very well with Brian Yuzna's specialty of horror," said Woodman.
The show has previously featured celebrities such as Bryan Ferry, Bai Ling, Nina Hagen and Dolph Lundgren.
“I was delighted to be asked to feature on Arte's 'Into the Night' and was thrilled to have the chance to share the show with Brian Yuzna,” continued Woodman. “I love his work and the chance to explore our very different takes on the world of cinema was fascinating."
