LOS ANGELES—Rocker Phil Varone offers viewers a raw look at the actual lifestyle of real swingers in a new directorial effort for Vivid Entertainment titled Swinging American Style: Texas Fuck 'Em.
Available today for online viewing at Vivid.com and coming to stores May 1, Swinging American Style is the first in a new series focusing on the swinger subculture. The participants in the movie were assembled by Varone, who starred on VH1's Celebrity Sex Rehab and claims to have had sex with over 3,000 women.
The former Skid Row and Saigon Kick drummer plays sexual ringmaster for the title's cameras in his own version of card game Texas Hold 'Em. His vouyeristic directing style allows the viewer to feel as if he or she is in the same room watching the action unfold. Knowing that most people have little experience in front of a camera other than personal home video, Varone says "less is more when trying to capture the true lives of real people."
Aiming to reveal with the movie what actually happens when genuine members of the swinger community get together, Varone expounds, "Swinging is alive and thriving in America. Anyone who has been thinking about joining in shouldn't hesitate, as there are increasingly more of us who want to share our sensuous sides with you, and this movie gives you a pretty good idea of the fun that we are all enjoying."
