Phase One Offers New Services at POGAdult.com

Over the last 25 years, Phase One Graphics (POG) has built a reputation as one of the top names in Adult graphic design, photography, and advertising, but they’re not about to rest on their laurels: They have recently expanded their services to include Website design, development, and hosting.

To that end, POG recently unveiled their new Website, POGAdult.com, which showcases the company’s portfolio and highlights the new services POG now offers.

“We’ve been around for 25 years, and people have come to know Phase One Graphics for quality. We want to make sure our reputation transcends into POGAdult.com as well,” Michael Bushler, owner and creative director of Phase One Graphics, told AVN.com.

“We’ve been dabbling in Web design for the last four years, but now I’m planning to offer a suite of services that are Web-related and open those up for everyone,” Bushler said.

In addition to advanced HTML and Flash programming, POG is capable of designing and maintaining your entire Website from start to finish, all under one roof. They shoot and art direct their own cover photography at their in-house studio, which includes a separate setup for product photography used in packaging, catalogs and/or ads.

With the new Web services, Bushler says that POG has moved from being a traditional print-based graphics house to a full-service high-end design studio, offering Website development, packaging design, promotional materials design, and cover and product photography all in one location. “We can take care of any graphics that you need for any aspect of your business, except editing your footage and handling your DVD authoring. Other than that, if there is a graphical aspect to your project, we’re more than capable.”

Bushler says that a client turning to one studio for all of their graphical needs can have a number of advantages. “We’re very sophisticated at recognizing output of the product. By allowing me to have the creativity to design the whole project, you get a much more cohesive, sellable end product,” he said.

“Colors have different properties on different platforms, be it broadcast, Web, or print. It’s easier for one shop take advantage of alternate colors we can select that will work in flow with the original design and still retain the client’s original intent.

“There are subtleties in picking colors, especially for use on different platforms. If you produce couples fare, you don’t want hard, harsh colors on your box cover, you want subtle colors – and subtle colors don’t work on the Web, unless you takes steps to make it have same ambience online as it does on the box,” Bushler added.

While Bushler is excited about the new direction his company is taking, he’s quick to point out that he’s just as excited about everything POG handles. “We’re not turning our back on graphics, we’re still doing everything else. Its just that we’ve grown.”
