Penthouse Signs Distribution Deal with Pulse

Penthouse Media Group (PMGI) recently signed a domestic U.S. retail agreement for the distribution of its all-new line of Penthouse movies and DVD’s with Pulse Distribution. Positioned to be released this 2006 holiday season, the first Penthouse-issued title, Penthouse Letters, will hit market shelves in November.

“Pulse has extensive industry knowledge and a proven track record and Penthouse is an internationally recognized brand, so this is a mutually exciting collaboration,” said Penthouse Media Group CEO, Marc H. Bell.

“We’re also pleased to be associated with industry veterans the likes of [Pulse co-owners] Jim Kohls and Mark Hamilton; and we’re looking forward to PMGI and Pulse being a fixed affiliation.”

“We’re very excited about the opportunity to work alongside such a respected company as Penthouse,” Kohls said. “Marc Bell and his team have reinvigorated the Penthouse brand and we are certain to receive a huge level of interest from our customers for all the high-end adult series that Penthouse releases.”

A Penthouse spokesperson said that the company will continue to deliver adult content via its various categories: Penthouse Variations – the fetishes and alternative line, Penthouse Forum – the sexually informative and interactive line, Penthouse Letters – where Penthouse Letters are brought to life, and the newly acquired Jill Kelly Productions line, will all be featured for immediate distribution.
