A long-running legal dispute over the city’s handling of a business license application for a store that sells sex-related products is over.
The city of Lacey, Wash., has paid $290,000 to settle a federal lawsuit filed by Peekay Inc., which was trying to open a Lover's Package store, after the city refused its license.
