United Video has added Pearl Productions as the all-white flip side to the all-black Onyxxx Productions it already distributes. Both are “high-end anal” lines, according to United sales manager Alex.
Pearl’s first release is Anal Latex Whores, directed by Jim Powers, with a cast that includes Katja Kassin, Gia Paloma, Vanilla Sky and Audrey Hollander.
“It’s just great,” Alex told AVN.com. “It’s got cum-swapping and cum-swallowing, ass-gaping, d.p.s. It’s all anal and over the top. It’s shot really well, with a lot of latex.” Street date is September 21.
As for the line’s name, “I kind of came up with the concept,” Alex said. “The onyxxx, the pearl, I just liked the way the two stones looked together. We did a real good marketing thing with the yin-yang; it looks cool. Onyxxx is the cream of the crop as far as the black stuff we’re putting out.”
Onyxxx’ latest release is Monique’s Bad Azz, from Monique, who produced, directed and starred. Alex calls it “an awesome title. Monique is an amazing director who needs to be recognized.”
“You know, when somebody sets up a scene for 15 minutes, you usually want to fast-forward and get to the sex. But she sets a scene up with Mandingo where she’s doing this first-person, talking to the camera thing. It’s just great the way she talks dirty and does a lot of foreplay before the scene. For me to say ‘foreplay’—c’mon!
“She’s like a Jules Jordan as far as knowing what the viewer wants to see.”
He said the movie includes “an amazing girl-girl with India and Lacey, who are off contract [with Video Team] now.”
Alex added, “Terry, from West Coast Productions, is also shooting for Onyxxx now. He’s doing a great series called Big Booty Catchers, which hasn’t been released yet.”
