Microbilling solutions provider PayAsYouClick.com has announced major upgrades to its service, including new payment and payout methods, improved stats and tracking, and stronger site building tools.
“We want to broaden the opportunities for webmasters to include PayAsYouClick in their portfolio of sites, without expecting them to change their business to suit us,” director Danny Watkins tells AVNOnline.com. “So, for example, the new tools for subscription site owners enable them to use PayAsYouClick alongside their subscription options, while rewarding affiliates for both types of spending. And the three payment models we now support mean webmasters can start using PayAsYouClick without having to completely change the structure of their site.”
Webmasters can now offer the PayAsYouClick model, which charges surfers minimal dollar amounts per photo and video, alongside their subscription model. PayAsYouClick tracks affiliate codes and pays participating sites’ affiliates directly.
“Many visitors to pay sites exit the tour or join page because they just don’t like buying subscriptions or don’t trust the site with their email or card details,” Watkins explains. “Those same surfers are on that site because they love the content and many would spend good money there at say, a dollar per clip.”
In addition, PayAsYouClick.com has three billing models: pay-per-click, microsubscriptions, and encrypted links.
New payment methods are online check, premium phone number, and SMS. SMS is currently only available in the U.K., but the company is planning to expand to more countries shortly.
Payouts now feature MoneyBookers, ePassporte, check (U.S. dollars or sterling), direct bank account transfers in the U.S. or U.K. or international wire.
Additional upgrades include more robust webmaster stats, an adult verification option, a new commission model for traffic, and major improvements in their site-building tools that allow webmasters to generate links in minutes.
