Passive Arts Studio Makes Video Debut & Launch Sites

Famed fetish house/dungeon Passive Arts Studio recently shot its debut video, The Interrogation, and launched its official Website, www.passivearts.com. The video is available directly through their website, but PAS is is seeking wider distribution for their product.

"We are trying to take the normal bondage videos and film them a notch above what you normally see," Passive Arts' John Lavine told AVNOnline.com. "Not only that, we are selling them at a price that is affordable, $29.95. Most DVDs that are on the market these days are absolutely terrible and extremely expensive for what they contain."

Passive Arts Studio was first established in Hollywood in 1974. The first establishment was a small two-room dungeon with minimal equipment and a small contingent of doms and submissives and reports to be one of the first commercial Dungeons to ever advertise in the United States.

Over the first several years, Passive Arts Studios trained many Dominatrixes who would later become worldwide figures and end up having Dungeons of their own. Several of their ladies appeared in the George C. Scott film Hardcore in 1976 and also appeared in Penthouse magazine in the same year.

In 1999, Passive Arts was resurrected in a 7000 square foot building directly across from LAX by one of the original partners. Fully air conditioned and heated, cleaned by a professional crew and filled with state of the art equipment, it has seven complete theme rooms and dungeons, plus a 2500 square foot social area complete with a stage and lighting. Their large dungeon includes a rack, horse, cross, shackles, a custom gilded cage, torture tower and rolling suspension. Smaller dungeons abound, with their own features and themes as well. There are also wigs, costumes and makeup available and even a stable and English schoolroom.

Passive Arts Studios holds fetish events such as the Hell Fire Club and is also home to many organizations throughout the Southland and also has monthly Play Parties under the banner of Club Fetish. They host a lifestyle social club called Pantheon West that has featured speakers such as Midori, Jay Wiseman and Jack Rinella. Now, with Passive Arts Video in full swing and the recent launch of their new sites, Passive Arts has grown into the multi-media company they have always strived to be.

Passive Arts Studios also offers links to www.pantheonwest.com, www.TheEroticArtFestival.com, and www.TheBDSMnetwork.com. Potential distributors can call John Lavine at (310) 410-1144.
