Party Displays Some Vaudeville Flesh

Erotica LA and Phallix were amongst the sponsors for Vaudeville Flesh, a party in celebration of Pleasure Chest’s 35th Anniversary. Pleasure Chest is L.A.’s longest running sex toy boutique- its doors first opened in 1971.

The party was held on Saturday, at Hollywood’s Dragonfly and featured a couture fashion show by Junker designs (famed for dressing rock stars like Steven Tyler, Britney Spears and Motley Crue) as well as an art exhibition, curated by Gidget Gein (artist and co-creator of Marilyn Manson). Additionally, there were several sexy vaudeville performances, including sets by starlet Nina Hartley and Russ Meyers vixen Kitten Natividad.

Starlet Kimberly Kane participated in the Junker fashion show and Ashley Blue, Dani Woodward, host Courtney Cruz (fetish model), Tony Lovett (AVN Online) and Katie Smith (Playboy.com) all dropped by for the festivities.

“I think that the event was a great success,” said Cindy Cheer, marketing manager for Erotica LA.

Erotica LA is sponsoring several events to gear up for the 2006 summer show. “One of our main marketing objectives this year is to attract a diverse group of attendees to the show. From sponsoring charity events to hot club nights, we’re covering the gamut of what and who makes up this sprawling metropolis,” said Cheer. In celebration of its 10-year anniversary, Erotica LA is anticipating their largest crowd in Erotica history.
