Parties on night 2

There's nothing like a cee-gar and a glug of fine sipping whiskey after a hard day on the show floor at Internext. The VIP Cigar and bourbon chillout lounge thing sponsored by nocreditcard.com was the perfect place for some genteel conversation, a drink and a stogie. Photographer Kevin Moore and I rubbed shoulders with other Very Important People like Aly Drummond, cruise director of Python, Chad from nocreditcard.com, and Jon and Eric from WebQuest and/or Flynt Digital. With aged whiskey and expensive Cohibas, we were chillin' like villians, sorta.

Later we went to the Xbiz awards, and "Kash Money" Kev and I eschewed our VIP privileges and hung out on the floor with the regular folks. We were rewarded with a money storm. A shower of one dollar bills on our heads as a grand finale to the awards. I scooped up like 20 bucks, but an Asian American gentleman nearby was scooping up what had to be at least a grand of Xbiz's throwaway cash. The requisite appearance by Too Short rocked the hizzy (as the kids say), and we even ran into Mary Carey at the Venetian. She's the hottest, nuttsiest political figure in California politics since Jerry Brown.

Later, for unfathomable reasons, we hung out at some nameless bar by the front entrance of Harrahs, and quickly discovered it was a hotbed of hoeing and johnning. Watching the intricate transactions of the world's oldest profession among the geriatrics and sociopaths who frequent Harrah's was an education. Those people are more pervy than the entire adult Internet, I swear.
