CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Paradise Visuals has struck a deal to sell its library of classic adult features and new titles exclusively through Anabolic Video.
The Paradise Visuals library includes 65 classic adult videos from the 1980s, including John Holmes' last movie The Devil in Mr Holmes. New co-owner Jason Green and his partner resurrected the label in 2005, and Paradise has since produced several new titles including the comedy feature The Make Up. The company won AVN's Best Classic DVD award in 2006 for Ginger Lynn: The Movie.
“We’ve
been working on this deal since August. We needed a top brand name company to
distribute our already brand name titles and Anabolic was the perfect choice
for us," said Green. “Just because
we were originally a classic company doesn’t mean we have to live in the past.
It is Paradise’s goal to bring our movies, new and old, to a much wider audience
and Anabolic can help us do that.”
Paradise Visuals will release two classic
titles per month through Anabolic beginning in 2008. Anabolic will also release new Paradise Visuals features beginning with The Make Up, available on DVD
now.
