PROSTITUTE KILLER STRIPPED OF ARTS PRIVILEGES

He's serving life for murdering at least eleven prostitutes - and he was making a bartering killing selling poetry and art on the Internet…until now.

Prison authorities say they've stripped Arthur Shawcross of his arts privileges after discovering he would auction his works on eBay in exchange for items like shoes and other personal items.

Shawcross is serving 250 years-to-life at Sullivan Correctional Facility for a spree in which he strangled his victims and cannibalized some of them in the 1980s. He was convicted in 1991.

New York's corrections commissioner says his department "will not tolerate any inmates engaging in any type business activity while they are in our custody."

On the bright side, at least Shawcross wasn't violating New York's Son of Sam Law, which stops inmates from receiving money in exchange for goods or services. He was paid merely with favors or small gifts.

Here's how one of the ads read: "Serial killer Arthur Shawcross, also known as the Genesee River Killer…Lot of 6 typed, handwritten and signed 3x5 cards, all signed for the same person, a female serial killer group."
