PPV WWF FANS SHOCKED BY PORN SHOW

Even fans of professional wrestling can be shocked, apparently. It's one thing for them to be comfortable with sexy performers and sexual innuendo in the ring, but it's something else again when they watch pay-per-view wrestling on satellite theater transmission and get themselves some porn in the mix.

But that's apparently what happened Feb. 27, when theaters in several Canadian cities were stunned to see the porn material transmitted right after a pay-per-view World Wrestling Federation event. Bell ExpressVu tells Reuters the mishap was due to human error.

``The company sincerely regrets that this incident occurred and has taken the necessary action to ensure that it will never happen again by rewiring the switching facility,'' a company press release says. The company has offered refunds to those who watched the accident and offered free tickets to the next WWF pay-per-view broadcast.

The accidental porncast triggered complaints from parents still leaving theaters with their children when it hit the screens. ``It was very graphic,'' Colleen Allen told the Vancouver Province. ``My 11-year-old was devastated ... Little girls were coming out crying.''
