PAW Announces Circus MaXXXimus '04

On May 29, Protecting Adult Welfare (PAW) will hold it's fifth annual Circus MaXXXimus event, which features a bevy of porn stars raising money for a good cause.

The event will feature an adult carwash, where customers can watch from inside as their favorite porn stars wipe their vehicle down. There will also be fun games, such as the celebrity dunk tank, where fans can dunk an adult star and even win the shirt off her back. There will also be adult merchandise for sale, including videos and photos, and a bevy of porn stars will be on hand to autograph Polaroids.

"There will be lots more car washing, lots more water and anyone who wants to set up can sell their wares or underwears are welcome to come out and do so," founder William Margold told AVNOnline.com. "The event is pure fun, but the primary function of this event is to raise money for the PAW, which is the mental stability office I run out of Van Nuys and is the organization I set up after [porn star] Savannah killed herself in 1994."

"PAW's major function is to provide adult entertainers with emergency funding and help them with their rent or bills," Margold explained. "We also have a counseling facility that I run.

"This is a fun little event, but the big event for PAW will be the FOXE Awards on June 17. This year we'll be honoring Seka, my greatest discovery and one of the most important ladies in the business."

Margold has been actively involved in the industry since 1969 as a performer, agent, director, industry spokesman and philanthropist and co-founded the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO), Fans Of X-rated Entertainment (FOXE), was on the board of directors of the Free Speech Organization (FSC) as well as being a co-founder of Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation (AIM).

Circus MaXXXimus will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 9650 DeSoto St. (at Superior) in Chatsworth. You must be 18 or older to attend. All proceeds go to PAW Foundation and donations are tax deductible. Video and still cameras are welcome. For more information, call 818.501.6139 or 818.998.5400.
