Putting perhaps a slightly peculiar spin on things going bump in the night, actress Lucy Liu tells US that she once had sex with…a ghost.
The Ally McBeal co-star says she was visited in college days by "an ethereal spirit" who had his way with her, first appearing while she slept on a futon.
Apparently, the paranormal would-be paramour "knew exactly how to push her buttons", then floated away mysteriously, according to US.
And Liu tells the magazine she is convinced the sensuous spirit still follows her around, even though her ethereal encounter of the closest kind was strictly a one-night stand.
The story will appear in the forthcoming issue of US.
Liu is familiar to Ally McBeal fans as Ling Woo, the steel plant manager who is more or less dating money-hungry law firm head Richard Fish (Greg Germann) and more or less uncomfortable around new people. One of her most memorable moments on the show was the episode wherein she went to Fish's bedroom to find Judge Whipper Cone (Dyan Cannon) standing there naked, waiting to surprise him.
