Adult performers Otto Bauer and Audrey Hollander have partnered with video-on-demand website AmericanVice.com in an online content deal that will include unreleased scenes from Bauer's private collection.
"It is very easy to tell that people who know and love porn created American Vice," said Bauer. "Most VOD sites simply offer huge amounts of movies with little information about the titles. Would you rather shop at Wal-Mart and have a one-size-fits-all experience or a high-end boutique where all your desires are catered to?"
The site's owners initially approached Otto and Audrey as fans of the duo's extreme Supercore brand. Liking what they saw, the married couple agreed to lend their notorious image to the site and are now part-owners of the venture.
AmericanVice.com currently offers 608 adult DVD releases, with each scene accompanied by a blow-by-blow description written from a fan's perspective. The site is now in the process of adding 300 titles to its library, along with the never-before-seen clips from Bauer's vault.
The site is also notable for its patented Rebel Search, a Flash-based interface that allows the visitor to easily locate specific content from a wide variety of categories.
"The search is very visual, and it allows the viewer to get a feel for how their choices dynamically affect the results," an American Vice rep told AVN.com. "We struggled for a really long time as to how to allow users to access 67 meta-tags in a clean and simple way. Some sites will have hundreds of tags that have been applied by hundreds of people over the years, and they're worthless; the search doesn't work. We set out to make the best possible product that we could."
Among the Bauer/Hollander videos available through American Vice are the Mach 2 DVD series Rough and Ready, Lips That Lie, X-Cessive Behavior, Almost Virgins and Otto & Audrey Destroy the World.

As the new avatars of American Vice, Otto and Audrey are endorsing a limited promotional offer of five free movie downloads for web-surfers who try the site.
