Online TLA Style Store Relaunched

TLA Video has relaunched its online gay shopping store, TLA Style, and right on time for the holiday season.

“With TLA Style we want to go ‘beyond the rainbow’ and expand the idea of gay-oriented shopping,” said TLA Style editor Dwayne Custer announcing the remake. “Too many shopping sites either limit themselves to a few rainbow-colored souvenirs or focus on sexuality.  TLA Style encompasses the entire modern gay lifestyle.”  He did not return a call for comment from AVN.com before this story went to press.

The remodeling includes a new department, Imported Gifts, featuring over one hundred international products for home and office, from the "rare and beautiful to the robust and energetic," including a selection of Buddha sculptures from Thai Heritage.

Though the most popular and best-stocked department is men's clothing, the breakout department has been watches and jewelry, TLA Style said, going from City Transit Token cufflinks to Jewelry to Go handcrafted necklaces. Holiday season introduces a full line of watches from Tokyo Bay.

The most diverse department? Home furnishings, said TLA Style, from traditional products "with a stylish twist" (the Satellite Bowl from the Museum of Modern Art, for example) to whimsical high camp (the Carmen Miranda novelty tablewear, among other things). And the holiday season introduces a ceramic cookie jar cast into the image of Marilyn Monroe riding as a parade grand marshal in a pink Nash Rambler convertible, among other new products.
