On the second anniversary of his popular adult Website, Jason Sechrest announced the Website's first facelift since it entered cyberspace.
"In the beginning, I think I was just tired of people telling me that they wished they could live my life or walk in my shoes for a day and I decided, well now you can for a monthly fee!" he says of the site, whose mainstream attention has also come from MTV, Rolling Stone and Arena.
"But as the site expanded and its popularity grew, I realized from the emails I was receiving that it served a greater purpose than what I'd expected in that it humanizes these people," he continued. "It gives a glimpse into what they're like behind the scenes and why they do what they do. It's the persons behind the personas that I think fascinates us."
Sechrest said the remake/remodel actually began a year ago.
"The same thing happened as with the launch of the site," he told AVN.com. "I don't handle the technical aspect, I provide the content, and my Web team builds the site. When we launched, I gave them an idea of what I wanted, and they showed me what they did, and I wanted more stuff changed, and it just evolved into a picture of perfection I wanted it to be. And I wasn't willing to launch until we had exactly what I wanted. Same thing with the relaunch. Which is appropriate. Two years, version 2.0. It's good timing."
The site now highlights in more detail but easier arrangement Sechrest's busy life with all manner of adult entertainer and entertainment in a reality-based format, not to mention his corresponding life as a print and broadcast journalist on entertainment doings and undoings, his popular Internet radio show, and his work as an adult publicist with his DV8 Public Relations. But the Website is Sechrest's most consistent revenue source, not to mention an even-up covering of straight and gay adult entertainment.
"I have always felt it an honor to be considered a part of this community, this family really," Sechrest said on his Website, in the News Desk section. "JasonCurious.com is still dedicated to being the best way for people to get to know their favorite adult stars the way that I know them, with unrestricted access to their lives... and sometimes even their bodies! It's a way to live the dream and become an honorary member of that family for a while."
