Bert Levesque of Zane Entertainment Group offers a progress report on Keri Windsor's participation in the Cannonball Run-style One Lap of America car rally which started out in Michigan, Sunday. Zane is one of the sponsors and professional driver Ed Alexander heads up the Zane team which includes Windsor as a team driver.
Levesque: "They finished in fifth place so far through Pike's Peak in their class which is vintage-foreign. They had a breakdown along the way, got it fixed and off they went. Right now they're on their way to Texas. I talked to Keri's husband, Mark, and there's a good chance she may do an interview on Good Morning America tomorrow. That may be real good.
"I know Lucky [Smith] real well and said I was looking for a really good-looking girl who's articulate. Keri is certainly both of those. She's a very bright young lady. She came out of the regular [movie] industry, so she knows how to handle herself. It worked out great. She's having a ball. She said coming out of Michigan she went through one of the worst rain storms of her life but survived it. It went fine. This is very interesting for us. We've never done anything like this before. This has tremendous promotional value.
"She'll appear in the upcoming Lipstick Lesbians #6. We'll have a whole bunch of celebrities, and she'll be one of the them.
