LOS ANGELES—Who doesn’t love that 1990 feel-good film Ghost, right? After all, it’s the ultimate couples movie, about a love that survives death—doesn’t get much more warm and fuzzy than that! So of course, a porn parody was inevitable, and leave it to director Jordan Septo to bring out both the compassion and the passion—and, of course, the sex.
“Ghost was the very famous movie that helped put Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze on the map,” Septo reflected, “and we’re very excited about our parody for that reason, because everybody has seen the original—and also the fact that it’s coming out in October, just in time for Halloween, which is good timing.”
Septo’s version stars Brooklyn Lee and Seth Gamble in the primary roles, with Misty Stone essaying the Whoopi Goldberg character, Ryan Driller as the bank employee buddy of Seth’s who’s trying to have him killed, and Tommy Pistol as the lowlife who’ll do the deed. We couldn’t help but notice that aside from the women playing Whoopi’s sisters, it’s not a story with a lot of women in it.
“Unfortunately, Ghost wasn’t a really girl-rich movie,” Septo admitted, “but we managed to work some in somehow. We cast Eva Angelina as an accomplice to Ryan Driller’s character at the bank; we had Jessie Rogers come in to play a ghost, and then we had Raven Bay playing the girlfriend of Seth’s character’s killer, Tommy Pistol. And we cast Evan Stone as the crazy ghost in the subway who teaches Seth how to move objects—and of course, Evan played that character to perfection.”
AVN was present for two sex scenes, the first depicting (unlike the original) the honest version of what happens when Misty lets Seth take over her body for a last dance with Brooklyn—except this time, of course, it’s the two women who wind up having sex.
