Talk about your “one day wonders”! Director Will Ryder’s parody of the classic Judy Garland film managed to lens seven sex scenes, five musical numbers written by Ryder and actually sung by the cast members themselves, and to create a reasonable facsimile of both Dorothy’s house in Kansas and the “wonderful land of Oz” on the Hustler Studios soundstage, all in the space of 26-and-a-half straight hours of filming what’s sure to be a Best Parody contender at next year’s AVN Awards.
And that’s not counting the fact that Mac Turner, who’d spent most of the previous night driving down from Seattle (with co-star Stella Marie) to play the Scarecrow, spent most of that day suffering the early effects of the flu—Ryder simply thought Turner was trembling violently because he was really getting into his character—and eventually, Turner had to be rushed to a local hospital in the pre-dawn hours to replace the fluids he lost while “hugging the porcelain goddess.”
Why the breakneck pace? Well, for one thing, early March, when the filming took place, also saw the premiere of Oz the Great and Powerful, Hollywood’s own follow-up to its 1939 classic, a sort of prequel to the Garland film, only this time in 3D, and Ryder is undoubtedly hoping that that release will inspire sales of his own work. Not only that, but the 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz is coming up next year, so it couldn’t hurt to prepare early.
Of course, what all that meant “on the ground” was that makeup artists were going crazy trying to paint Wicked Witch of the West Brandy Aniston green, shaving Dick Chibbles’ head and painting him silver (guess which part he’s playing!), adding latex facial features to Cowardly Lion James Bartholet, and putting a pink wig on tiny “sex-crazed” Munchkin Stella Marie. It also meant dealing with a giant wind machine brought in to simulate the tornado that sent Dorothy to Oz in the first place, and various mini-smoke grenades to help with, among other things, the “melting” of the Wicked Witch at the end of the movie.
All of that, of course, led to major delays in the filming, and though the final orgy scene between Maddy O’Reilly (Dorothy), Glinda the Good Witch (Anikka Albrite) and an Emerald City guard (Kurt Lockwood) was supposed to take place at 3 a.m., the action didn’t actually get under way until about five hours later—but Ryder considers it the best scene in the movie.
Though AVN wasn’t present for that one, we did get to see two scorchers: the first between Stella Marie and Witch’s Guard Eric John, and later, the pairing of Wicked Witch Brandy Aniston and Tin Man Dick Chibbles.
The Stella/Eric scene takes place just after Maddy is advised by Anikka to “follow the Yellow Prick Road” where she’ll “find many opportunities to earn fast cash” (wink, wink) and Brandy appears with her guard, whom she offers to Stella to fuck. It’s a hot scene, though it was clear that Eric wasn’t used to dealing with a partner as tiny as Stella. Still, Stella’s mouth is big enough to engulf Eric’s ample cock—and she doesn’t even have to kneel to suck it! He then eats her out on the park bench, lays her back for mish, and has her stand on the bench so he can fuck her doggie style before cumming on her ass.
The Brandy/Dick scene has the black-clad beauty letting Dick play with her ample tits and lick her pussy before lying back on a table so Dick can poke her missionarily. Then it’s time for her to get down and suck his cock before even more mish, though the scene ends with the pair doing it horsie style, with Brandy raising one of her legs so viewers can get a perfect view of his cock going in and out.
