LOS ANGELES—The website has been launched and voting has begun on The Sex Awards, presented by HotMovies.com. Fans are invited to vote online for their favorite nominated stars, sites and products in various categories for the adult industry’s first consumer-voted awards show to be broadcast on national television.
The 2013 Sex Awards site is located at www.TheSexAwards.com. Eligibility for nomination for The Sex Awards was limited to all products and movies released between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2013.
Overwhelming industry business and talent participation in the nomination process resulted in over 100 selections per category. The glossy, colorful site features an epic total of nearly 2000 selections in 17 different categories spanning the business of sex, from which fans can vote for their favorites in each category.
All aspects of the adult industry are represented in The Sex Awards’ categories, including talent, producers, pleasure products, websites, production and distribution companies.
“We feel that the consumer will enjoy voting on these 17 categories,” said Paul Fishbein, president of the X3Sixty Network, co-producer of the awards alongside AVN Media Network. “The site launch will allow the nominated companies and people to use their social media resources to garner votes, making the whole experience interactive.”
The site is simply designed: fans will be able to vote for up to five nominees per category. Fans may change their vote while in the process of voting, but final votes are limited to one vote per IP address once submitted. In addition, all voters will be placed into a drawing, where the winner receives two free tickets to the industry-only awards show. The deadline to vote is August 25, 2013.
“We wish all of the nominees the best, and look forward to seeing all the fans vote for their favorite stars, companies and products,” said The Sex Awards and X3Sixty Network co-founder Darren Roberts.

The live event in Hollywood is now scheduled for October 9, 2013 and will be held at the recently renovated Avalon Hollywood on Vine St., directly across the street from the famed Capitol Records building. The event is sponsored by HotMovies.com (Presenting Sponsor), CougarLife.com (Red Carpet Sponsor), Baci Lingerie (Winners Circle & Trophy Girl Sponsor) and OVO (Pleasure Product Sponsor). The Sex Awards are produced by X3Sixty Network and AVN. Digital Playground contract star Kayden Kross will host the event.
