Nudes On Bikes Not What He Likes

Professional BMX biker Dave Mirra says strippers on bikes hurt his image to the tune of $20 million, the damages he wants videogame maker Acclaim Entertainment to hand over in a lawsuit he filed in federal court last week.

The suit says Acclaim used Mirra's likeness and name to promote its BMX XXX game, even after both sides agreed to disassociate the biker. "It's a baseless lawsuit," Acclaim spokesman Alan Lewis told Reuters, "and we're going to vigorously fight it."

Mirra is ready for a vigorous fight himself. He charges Acclaim changed the focus of the game from a tongue-in-cheek game to an all-but-porn game after he signed a deal to lend his name to the game.

"During the ongoing development of (XXX), but after obtaining Dave Mirra's approval of the initial concept," the lawsuit says, "Acclaim changed the concept of the game to become more sexually explicit and pornographic, ultimately settling on nudity as a major selling point," the suit said.
