Nude Tennis Tournament Webcast

If you like tennis and prefer it in your birthday suit, you would have loved the May 21 Webcast of what the Lake Como Nudist Resort here called the first-ever, pay-per-view nude co-ed tennis tournament Webcast.

The resort originally planned to air the tournament last week but the response was so large they put the premiere back to May 21, according to the National Post.

"We've been playing nude tennis tournaments for years and years and years, decades, but it's never been Webcast," Lake Como Resort marketing director Elf Andersen told the paper. "That's why it's so exciting."

The original Webcast was set for May 14, after the tournament was filmed at the resort the previous weekend. The tournament involved two nine-person teams, with players rotating in and out off the clay courts, according to the National Post. The only qualification: the players had to be card-carrying members of a naturalist organization.

And it wasn't strictly a body-beautiful affair, Anderson told the paper. "We wanted to show nudism in its true form, with total acceptance of all body types," she said. "So we have some beautiful bodies, and they're all beautiful. Just some of them are more beautiful on the inside." Humphrey Pennyworth
