NorthStar Associates has announced the arrival of its “etched” DVDs.
“We started shipping back in September along with new 'rattle free' cases,” said NorthStar Marketing Director Michael Atkins. “We wanted to join the ranks of Evil Angel, Red Light and others in the fight against piracy.
“The etched DVD looks fantastic and has a hologram type of appeal. It definitely adds to the value of the product and gives us a sense of security about pirating and bootleg product.”
Atkins also said the company has introduced new “rattle or shaker free” packaging.
“We did this due to overwhelming customer input about DVDs being loose in the sleeve and returning as damaged,” he said. “The two clips keep the DVD in place and prevent any type of movement.
"We will continue to improve as the market demands and we have taken two major steps in the right direction here at NorthStar Associates.”
