North Star Hopes Promo Kits Will Push Sales

North Star Associates is banking on new promotional materials for its retail customers to help push sales.

The company, headed by Peter North and Richie Zaye, will offer trailer discs, window clings, talking shelf displays, hats, t-shirts and lanyards in promo kits to be distributed to their customers starting next month.

“Our sales have been pretty steady, but there’s a lot of competition out there and we felt we needed to do something to get us out there more,” said Michael Atkins, North Star’s marketing director.

“This isn’t meant to coincide with any particular release, but it’ll help drive sales for all our upcoming titles,” he added.

Among North Star’s slate of February releases are Pussyland #16, Grub Girls, North Pole 59 and First Offense.

Consumers purchasing North Star’s titles will receive free trailer discs as part of the effort.
