Lovely Nikki Fairchild, 22, like Tiffany Mason, is the latest product to come out of the DeeRob Enterprises talent factory. We met Nikki the other day on the set of Metro's Making Ends Meet. Nikki's been in the business about a month, has done five or six tapes, the first being for Elegant Angel, but this was her first feature requiring a script. Nikki said she attended the Erotica L.A. convention last year and ran into Rob of DeeRob who asked her if she was interested in being in the business. She said she'd think about it. It took her about a year to think about it, but here she is. "I was brand new to California [she's from New Mexico] and just walking around," she says. "It took about a year to get the guts." What finally put it over was Nikki's friends in the strip business egging her on. It was actually Erotica L.A. that also gave her ideas about being a stripper which she's been doing for about five months and has already been on the cover of Private Dancer Magazine.
"Money was one aspect of it," she says, "but I also enjoy learning about sex. This is an easy way to learn." Nikki says she loves the fast-mving pace of the business.
Rob: "I met Nikki at Erotica L.A. last year. She came by the booth. The story goes that when she came to the booth, everybody was approaching her asking her if she was in the business. She said no, but what attracted her was Dee. She said she wanted to do a scene with her and that's what got her into the business."
Rob says he also has another new girl named Lacey Duvall who is 18. "She'll probably start working in a couple of weeks," he said. "I bring the girls around to sets to get them used to how things work so they won't be gun-shy when they're ready to start. You let them see what a gonzo looks like, or what a feature looks like so they get an idea and not go into it blind." Rob says he met Lacey by chance in a mall. "I gave her a card, brought her in. I found out what she was like. She was very open-minded and willing to give it a try."
