GLENDALE, Calif.—Veteran performer Nikki Charm has her sights set on a very specific title in 2013: Comeback Performer of the Year.
In February 2010, Charm shot her first scene back in the business with her all-time favorite male performer, Tom Byron, in Seasoned Players 16, which garnered the 2011 AVN Award for Best MILF Release. She also appeared in an interracial scene with Sean Michaels in Taxi Driver XXX, directed by General Stone, which garnered multiple nominations at the 2011 AVN Awards. In addition, she shot several scenes for Lethal Hardcore and Naughty America during 2010 and 2011. When Jim Powers cast her as “Ally’s Mom” in Diary of Love for Smash Pictures, she received a Best Non-Sex Performance nomination at the 2013 AVN Awards.
For the most part, from 2010 to 2012, Charm has been occupied behind the camera working as production manager for Rob Black and Byron at their Sinister X Syndicate.
“I really rediscovered my love for filmmaking working with these guys," Charm said. "Being involved with such visionary masters in our business reignited my passion for what we do. It’s incredible to see a return to the story driven adult film. This year I am gunning for a Comeback Performer of the Year award! I want to get back in my comfort zone in front of the camera. Receiving the nomination for Best Non-Sex Performance at the AVN Awards this year made me hungry for more! I am looking to shoot for as many companies as possible and hoping to land some really good acting opportunities. I’m celebrating 28 years in porn and love the fact that while I was known as the almost too young girl next door early in my career, now I have the unbelievable opportunity to re-emerge as a MILF performer.”
Already in talks with some of the top producers in the business, Charm said, “2013 is the year I am going to make my presence known and felt once again.”
