Mike, Niki Lae's husband, spoke at length about the stories/interviews being written/given about his wife and her health status. Mike particularly addressed the Santino Lee interview which ran on geneross.com Tuesday.
Mike: "Santino said a lot. And there's different shit being said about Niki on other sites that's just not true, that she did a gangbang scene in Florida with Phoenix Black. That's not true. Someone wrote wondering if all the guys that did that scene were tested. There was only one guy in that scene; two girls, one guy.
"We have been careful in this business to only associate ourselves with people that we trust. Although Mike South has a reputation, he's only been good to us; and we've been very picky about who Niki works with. She always had a friendly approach. As far as the East Coast show is concerned, my test as well as hers was current. Because Sharon doesn't have a copy, doesn't mean crap. I'm seeing all these [press] releases from AIM as a defamation of character on Niki. They're blatantly being put out there.
"The first test that Niki did for Sharon was done on January 6th. Sharon retested her on the 12th because it was indeterminate. Inconclusive"
G. Ross: "Sharon said the first test results indicated that it [HIV] was detected."
Mike: "Sharon's lying. That test was inconclusive. It sat for a week. Even Niki used the word inconclusive with me on the phone here. She called me from Santino's cell phone outside of the AIM office right after she got the test back. I really wish I had a hard copy of that test. I don't know whether Niki's got it or not. I'm hoping that she does. I know without a doubt that Niki used the word inconclusive with me on the phone. Then Sharon did the second test because she screwed up and let it sit for a week. That's when they went to do the b.j. scene.
"Sharon had checked the file of the last people to do scenes with Niki. Rodney [Moore] came up clean. That was at the East Coast. The reason why Rodney's name wasn't released is because he's a client of AIM. She's protecting the AIM clients and nobody else."
Mike says Niki also worked with Ashley Heart at the ECVS.
Mike: "I wasn't in the scene, but I was in the room when they were doing that scene. I know the girls showed each other their tests. But I'm not sure we looked at Ashley's test to see the date on there. I don't know. The whole thing with this is that Niki could have been exposed four years ago and is now showing up on it."
Mike says Niki started working in the business about a year and a half ago.
Mike: "She's done about 20 scenes, then, again, half of them were with me. This was something she and I could both do together. Something we obviously enjoyed and get paid for. She's been testing regularly. Before the East Coast Show, Niki and I were testing every 30 days. With amateur you never know when somebody's going to call you. At East Coast we figured that she would test with Sharon in Vegas. We were going to fly her there to get it done. There were no tests done in between the East Coast show and then. We figured it was the end of the year, Christmas time, nobody's going to shoot. We'd just wait till Vegas. We called Sharon's office three days before we left for CES. Sharon's office said they would be testing out there and get it back the next day. We go out there on Wednesday night. She gets tested on Thursday morning. Niki asked Sharon if she could pick them up Friday. Sharon said, no, you need to pick them up at my booth on Monday.
"Sharon doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground. We thought that she would have a booth at IA 2000 by her saying that.t know. We go to IA 2000 and find out that she's not there. No big deal. We're going to LA, anyway we would just pick it up. Another thing that bothers me is Ed Powers getting credit, here. Ed had nothing to do with this. There was a scene set up with Ed on the Friday after she had her first test done. If she had gotten ger test, she would have gone through with the scene, but she put it off until she got to LA. It was then set up for the following week when she got her test.
"In LA Ed then said to Niki, "I thought you never did anal before.' Niki said you're right. She hadn't. She doesn't like it. She hates it, but it's something she needed to do at that point to get further along. She was going to make Ed her first. Well, Ed, seemed to have mistaken Santino's driving Niki around for Santino doing an anal scene with her. It was thrown way out of proportion. Later on, Ed even paid Niki a $200 cancellation fee. Niki was late but she didn't want to call Ed until she got the results [last Friday].
"She called Ed. Ed was ticked off. He said what are you doing with Santino. 'I thought you never done anal before. We know what he [Santino] likes.' Automatically assuming she done anal before. Later on, Ed talked with Niki and apologized saying he blew it out of proportion."
Mike says Niki is not dealing with the situation very well. "She's secluded in her room, unable to move. She's completely depressed. Sharon only gave her a pamphlet and said go see your doctor in Florida [Tampa]. She didn't tell her you could live a perfectly healthy life with it. Basically, Niki's been thinking since then that this is a death sentence.
"We had a couple of things we were going to launch on Valentine's day, including her website and an e-commerce site. We were going to use her name and image to promote them. We were passing stuff out at CES about it. What does all this bad publicity do? It kills our business. There was no reason for any of this. It's just ridiculous.
"I'm not saying that Niki got it from Ashley Heart. It may not have been. I'd like to know if it was. They used toys in their scene, and the toys were used in a previous scene, too. I don't know what was done to the toys."
[Mike says Niki didn't work with anyone in Vegas.]
