Nick Manning Retains Mainstream Representation

Adult performer Nick Manning is now represented by Associated Artists, a public relations firm and management company for mainstream actors, writers, and directors.

Manning’s agent, Erich. C. Smith, told AVN.com that the management company has a 15-year reputation for providing the mainstream entertainment industry with excellent talent. “Our focus is TV and film, but we do delve into theater, print, and music,” Smith said.

Smith went on to say, “I was introduced to Nick Manning and found him compelling as well as quirky. After meeting Nick, I got a good feeling about him. He’s got a great look…he’s not grungy.

“Nick and I then began to speak about Hollywood and the adult industry. After a few minutes we came to the conclusion that Hollywood as well could be in his grasps if he played the game right."

Manning, who did mainstream modeling work before going into adult, is known for his boisterous performances.

“[Associated Artists] basically came to me,” Manning told AVN.com. “I’m 6’1, 200 pounds, so I'm pretty much the perfect leading man for a lot of the stuff that they get… They just needed to know that I could act, and so they looked at some of my bigger features.”

Manning plans on doing both adult and mainstream work. “As long as [the mainstream work] doesn’t get in the way of what I’m doing in adult, I’m fine with it.

“I know I can hold my own with anybody.”

Smith explained that he and Associated Artists won’t be dealing with Manning’s adult movies.

“What we are here to do is introduce Nick Manning to another audience,” Smith said. “We have several projects in the works that will allow Nick to be seen with his clothes on and without having to run to the adult video store.

“I am excited to see how Hollywood will respond to him.”

Manning is off to a good start; he’s currently dating actress, talk-show host and model, Samantha Phillips.
