New on Net: Boob Jobs

The company that gave the country videos of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee and nearly gave us the deflowering of Internet virgins, has another treat in store for Web surfers. Now there's a free site for those who want to see cosmetic surgery being performed, including breast augmentations. \n It's even possible, by visiting Internet Entertainment Group's newest site, to win a free breast enlargement, nose job, facelift or liposuction. \n The site, OnLine Surgery (www.onlinesurgery.com), launched Oct. 28 with the live Internet broadcast of a breast enlargement performed on an unidentified California woman. That was followed by a facelift on another patient. The next live surgeries are to be shown between Nov. 10 and 12. \n The two initial operations took place at the Newport Center for Outpatient Surgery in Newport Beach, Calif. The inaugural procedure was performed by Dr. Andrew P. Ordon a media-savvy plastic surgeon. The facelift was done by Dr. Michael Elam, a Newport Beach doctor popularly known as the "Plastic Surgeon to the Stars." \n Those who want to win a free operation can enroll by writing an essay about why they need the procedure. After that, surgeons will choose from among the likely candidates. \n Seattle-based Internet Entertainment Group is best known for its adult sites, such as Club Love (www.clublove.com). The company gained instant fame by distributing the erotic honeymoon video of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. It also announced last summer that it would show two virgins having sex but canceled the performance after it was learned that it was a hoax and the so-called virgins actually were actors. \n The idea behind OnLine Surgery is to attract men and women who are considering making cosmetic changes to their bodies. One feature of the site is to provide nearby referrals to plastic surgeons. \n "There are now more than two million cosmetic surgery procedures performed in the U.S. each year and women as well as men are both intrigued and puzzled by these operations," said Seth Warshavsky, IEG president. \n "Virtually every question you might have about cosmetic surgery will be answered realistically on www.onlinesurgery.com and the site will give people accurate information about effectiveness, pain, costs and recovery periods," he said. There will never be a charge for those who wish to visit the site and see surgery performed.
