New Traffic Analysis Reporting from T3Report.com

T3Report.com, described as a traffic analysis report aimed at helping webmasters spot current and heretofore undetected traffic from which they can benefit, has been released by Cydata Services.

An XBiz Award nominee for Most Innovative Product, T3Report uses intensive spidering and data and link analysis. Their first virtual dollar came from a sale to Adam & Eve, who wanted to monitor how traffic links to their Web domain.

T3Report has also earned praise from RealBigCash.com.

"The T3Report is an amazing and efficient tool," said RealBigCash's Shannon. "Not only are we using the reports to track our own affiliates and advertising efforts, but we now have the ability to analyze the traffic of other sites and invite good, well-linked affiliates to also be a part of the RealBigCash.com affiliate network."

The idea behind the report, said Cydata founder Brandon Shalton, is to reveal the source of a Web site's traffic, such as affiliate programs, and the linking site's traffic, with the T3Report showing how the traffic flows upwards from two levels down.

Shalton – familiar to the Adult Internet for his efforts on behalf of Adult Sites Against Child Pornography and against what he calls patent abuse – said the report can help an affiliate program manager spot affiliates with a lot of links/traffic that aren’t promoting the sponsor site efficiently; or, he continued, it can be used to target other sites for link trades, banner placements, or drawing sites to promote pay sites.

"This has been cooking for a little over a year and a half and been in development the last seven months," he told AVNOnline.com. "I'm not sure where I got the crazy notion of doing massive spidering. But I think where this all came together was in looking at traffic, I looked at it as, I thought I could do some data analysis to map out this picture so people can understand who the traffic is coming from and where can they go and who can they talk to get that traffic.

"I use the analogy of gold mining," he continued. "What are the gold mines for traffic out there that people just don't realize. For a pay site, they know who their affiliates are, but they may not realize they have a lot of affiliates who have a lot of traffic they receive but they're not sending it on to that program. They would see a certain amount of affiliates have a lot of links but aren't their top sellers, so this is a tool for them to contact that affiliate and say why don't you promote us more?"

Cydata offers the report as either a one-time generated "snapshot" report or a monthly subscription, with reports coming by way of email.

"This report puts a big spotlight on traffic and gets rid of some of the mystery," Shalton said. "For some people, this is a validation for them. For other people, it may say x traffic is no good."

Shalton also said the T3Report would include analyses of keyword filtering by the time of the Las Vegas Internet Expo in January.
