The producers of MTV's The Real World and Road Rules are currently casting a new daytime reality series that will offer aid to women who are looking for help to change their lives.
Starting Over, produced by Bunim-Murray Productions, are seeking women over the age of 18 who "desperately want and need to start their life fresh", according to a company press release seeking participants.
"We're looking for women who have come to a point in their lives where they realize that they aren’t where they need to be and that they need to start over, and they need help doing it," Megan Sleeper, Casting Assistant for Bunim-Murry, told AVN.com.
"We're looking for women with all different types of stories, We're going to put them in a house with a couple of life coaches that will work with them, and deal with each individual on their specific needs for starting over, be it therapy, be it money, be it support or whatever it is," Sleeper said.
"One type of person that we are looking for is someone who has been in the porn industry for a while and is ready to move past that or whatever their reasons for leaving is. There are people that may have gotten into it at one time and felt it was right for them at the time but have now decided it's not what they want anymore," said Sleeper.
"We set them up with whatever it is that they need to start over," said Sleeper.
Women who are selected to participate in the show will be sent to Chicago for six to ten weeks, where they will live with and other participants accredited therapists or life coaches. The women receive counseling and advice from the therapist or life coaches, which is supposed to help them achieve their new goals in life. The show will begin production in May, but will shoot for at least a year, with new women rotating into the Chicago house of the early participants move on.
